Three main results of the project are enclosed: 1) a microsctructured mould for hot embossing of directly functionalized microfluidic chips, 2) a high quality medical imaging system, based on a microstructured moulded piezoceramic transducer 3) an innovative drug delivery system, enabled by a finely microengineered injection moulded microneedle patch.
This demonstrator of a microneedle injector patch is a fully working prototype, controlled by bluetooth, able to deliver a preprogrammed drug dose on demand, on the selected microneedle.
